NCSA Fall Invitational

The NCSA Fall Invitational was a great meet for UCSC! 

Being the second competition of the year, this was an important stepping stone for our future competitions. Many of our younger athletes earned the opportunity to experience their first finals session in their young swimming careers.These learning experiences, especially in the early months of the season, are fundamental for more positive results - as they will become more comfortable within these environments.

It was great to see all of the athletes having fun with their coaches and teammates and exciting to see many yellow Dino caps during finals! The building blocks that the athletes managed to demonstrate, illustrate the hard work and dedication they have been showing at workouts. It is really cool to overhear the next steps other groups are going to tackle now after seeing what they have been working on since September stick during their races over the weekend. 

It will be exciting to see how the rest of our season will go! Let's work hard and get after it!
